The website was based on StyleShout's free website template designed for churches - HASED. This template was chosen due to its clean and modern look, and due to it having most of the essential features, pages and elements ready. The template's code is well commented and organized making it easy to customize.

Simple answer - its cheaper and more customizable. Money is resource given to us by God to be good stewards of. Money is to be used for promotion of His Kingdom and His message. Using an a static HTML website allows us to host it for free with GitHub or GitLab Pages, and save on web-hosting.
